Who's had luck with using one, and which model/brand did you use?

I have a Dell with embedded scroll wheel. 2006ish manufacture, I think? The only thing I can get it to do is enter backspace characters. Tried it to set the Network Configuration but had to go back to using the remote. Didn't matter if I tried front or rear USB ports, left it plugged in while starting the Central...or plugged it in afterwards.

Probably not what you're looking for, but... I have a PS2 keyboard running through a PS2-->USB adapter that works for me.

It's about 25 years old, a Gateway 2000 programmable keyboard that is virtually irreplaceable now, and if it ever dies on me I don't know what I'll do. I have about 20 macros programmed into it, some of them running to dozens of keystrokes.

FWIW, I will pay pretty good money to have a spare one of these if anybody knows someone with one for sale.

And who can explain to me in simple words why my keyboard macro for pasting a quote on this bbs doesn't work anymore. Was there some change to the UBB code or something?
